Answer:

Until 26 September 2012 the WHO has confirmed there are two (2) positive cases confirmed as novel coronavirus. However until now, no similar incidents detected among the contacts of the two cases.

For the record coronavirus is common viruses causing common cold infections in humans. Mode of transmission is like the influenza virus infection through droplets (droplet) either by coughing or sneezing and is spread through the air. In most cases, coronavirus infections are mild. However, in certain circumstances such as the elderly and patients with chronic diseases as well as immune deficiency syndrome (immunocompromised), complications can occur such as the respiratory system and the kidneys.

Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) would like to remind the public, especially to the pilgrims to stay in shape, practicing manners cough (cough etiquette) and practice good personal hygiene at all times. ADVICE TO THE HAJJ PILGRIMS

Seek treatment at the clinic / hospital near if you have symptoms or signs as follows:
Fever
Cough
Pharyngitis
Breathless

(For pilgrims unhealthy please follow the doctor's advice)

When the pilgrims returned home and experienced the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat and shortness of breath during the period of inactivity, please seek treatment at the clinic / hospital nearby.
